The Metropolis GZM Logo is a symbol of a new brand created on 1 July 2017 that unites 41 municipalities and communes from the Silesian voivodeship.
The Metropolis GZM Logo is a basic component of the Metropolis’ visual identification system, which also contains a set of rules governing the use of signs and colours used, typefaces, together with acceptable and unacceptable forms of use of the sign and its modifications.
The official colours are fuchsia, yellow, and blue. The font used in the logotype is Arca Majora. The logo may also be in different colours, depending on its background, but the colour range may not go beyond the variants defined in the logo book.
The Metropolis GZM Logo is placed on information and promotion materials (including brochures, catalogues, flyers, posters, audiovisual and multimedia materials, gadgets) issued by the Metropolitan Office, its subordinate units, municipalities and communes being its part. Moreover, it must be placed on materials containing information about the implementation of public tasks by the metropolis’ municipalities and communes and those funded by the budget of the Metropolis GZM and advertisements for undertakings and projects under the auspices of the Chairman of the Management Board of Metropolis GZM.
The logotype may be made available free-of-charge to entities outside the Metropolitan Office, but its use must be compliant with the manual provided for in the logo book. Any and all materials involving the use of the logotypes of Metropolis GZM shall be subject to approval by the Department of Social Communication and Marketing of the Metropolitan Office. To this end, please send them to: email@example.com at least 7 days before the date on which they are sent for printing, production, publication in the press, broadcasting on TV, broadcasting on LED screens, putting them on the Internet or before public presentation.
